Writing Guidelines
Using the standard risk management model/process, develop a compliance plan for your current workplace. Please follow the following steps and document each step:
- Explain the context in which your workplace is situated
- Identify what you consider to be the five most serious risks to the law that you have to deal with
- Analyse those risks in terms of likelihood and consequence
- Prioritize and assess those risks
- Determine and document those risks which need to be treated
- Identify appropriate compliance activity to counter those risks
- Explain what resources you may need, what controls already exist and what legislative change (if any) would be required
- Map how you will assess the effectiveness of your compliance strategies
